Khulna Press Club polls held

KHULNA: The annual election of Khulna Press Club (KPC) was held at the VIP Lounge of the club under in the city yesterday.
SM Nazrul Islam, editor of ‘Weekly Ajker Tathya’ and Md Mamun Reza, Khulna Bureau Chief of ‘Channel 24’ and ‘Dainik Samokal’ were elected as the president and general secretary respectively, said a press release of KPC yesterday
The other elected members of the executive committee are-- vice presidents- SM Sahid Hossain (Dakkhinanchal Protidin), Md Anisuzzaman (Dainik Anirban) and Mozammel Haque Hawladar (Dainik Desh Sanjog), joint secretary- Md Tariqul Islam (Samoy TV),  treasurer- Md Rashidul Islam (Dainik Manobzamin), assistant secretaries- Arun Kumar Mondal (Dainik Janmobhumi), Debnath Ranojit Kumar (Dainik Alokito Sangbad) and SM Kamal Hossain (Dainik Amader Samoy).
