President to visit Tangail institution today

President Md Abdul Hamid visits Dhanbari Nawab Institution in Tangail today. He is due to attend the platinum Jubilee celebration and reunion of ex-student of one of the oldest institution. The president will address the alumni of the school, teachers, students and local elite. Saidul Islam, headmaster of the school, said Dhanbari Nawab Institution was established in 1910. The president’s visit has generated enthusiasm among the students, teachers and alumni. The alumni will exchange views and recollect the past on February 24. Drama and cultural function will be held on the second day of re-union. About 2500 alumni have been registered, the headmaster said.
