Sk Jamal to start AFC Cup campaign today

Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will kick off their AFC Cup competition with taking on hosts Tampines Rovers of Singapore today.
Team captain Wedson, one of the senior players Enamul and the assistant coach Kaiser are expecting to do well in their away match.
Wedson said, “Team will not play bad, we have experiences playing together and we are all experienced players, hope the team will play well.”
Enamul, one of the most experienced players when talking to the reporters over phone said, “We are all well, will try to do good result. We have been playing together for long time, almost all of us are matured, everybody knows each other and everybody has the mentality of win, if we can keep up the understanding among us, I hope we will do good result.”
Kaiser, said, “Opponent are good side. They have some skilled foreign players, specially Jeremy once played in English League for Liverpool and Arsenal while Billy Methew of Ireland played for the country’s Under-21 national side.
“Billy was also the highest scorer in the Thailand League in the previous season.”
“Coach is working with the defense organisation. We have no idea about the opponents but to see a video clip of local match and think if we can create pressure it would be possible to break their defense,” said Kaiser, deputy of the head coach Shafiqul Islam Manik.
