The Central Anti Smuggling Task Force has been reconstituted with the chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) as its chair, reports UNB.
Nineteen members from different law enforcement and intelligence agencies have been included in the new committee headed by NBR chairman Md Nojibur Rahman, said Mainul Khan, director general of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate.
Mainul Khan will act as the member secretary of the task force. Customs officials, all the divisional commissioners, DG of Rab, DG of Narcotics Control Department, representatives from police, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Ansar and VDP, and other members are included in the new central task force.
