A Bangladeshi youth has done a wonderful job by composing the famous song 'Amar Bhaier Rokhte Rangano Ekushey February' into 12 languages together marking the International Mother Language Day, reports UNB.
Nabid Salehin Niloy, a student of American International University, Bangladesh (AIUB), did the job connecting singers from 11 countries apart from Bangladeshi singers and made the song to pay respect to language martyrs in a different way.
“This is one of my dream projects. Thanks a lot for all your comments and supports. Thanks to each and everyone involved in this project. A project for International Mother Language Day... #Project 21," Nabid wrote on his Facebook page sharing the video of the song in 12 languages.
He said singers from 12 countries showed their respect to the language martyrs through his ‘dream project’. “Thanks to all the artists for their efforts.”
The 11 foreign singers who sang the song in their own languages are from Malaysia, Lebanon, Germany, Nepal, India, Venezuela, France, Russia, the USA, Hong Kong and Italy.
Asked how he connected with the foreign singers, Nabid, the person behind the concept, said the key means were ‘Facebook, internet and Google search engine’.
After finding out the singers, he shared his ideas and started working with those who responded positively. “It was a lengthy process but it’s done successfully,” he told the news agency expressing his satisfaction over the feedback he is getting after releasing the video.
Nabid who is now studying Computer Science and Engineering (CSE-7th semester) at the AIUB, is also a music composer, producer at Studio
The video song is also available on YouTube.
