3 Shibir men arrested with arms in Ctg

Police yesterday in separate drives arrested three Shibir men along with arms from city’s Chawkbazar area and Aochia village of Satkania Upazila in Chittagong.
The arrestees were identified as Md Rifat, 22, Didarul Alam, 20 and Md Abul Mansur, 24.
Police recovered a LG (Light Gun), two one-barrel guns and six round of bullets from the arrestees.
City’s Chawkbazar Police arrested Md Abul Mansur from in front of Probaha Coaching Centre along with an one-barrel gun and two round of bullets, said Aziz Ahmed, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chawkbazar Police Station.
Mansur is an active cadre of Islami Chhatra Shibir, said the OC Aziz.
