Death anniv of Shamsuzzoha observed
The 29th death anniversary of AKM Shamsuzzoha, a language movement veteran and one of the organisers of the Liberation War, was observed yesterday in Narayanganj.
He was also one of the founders of Bangladesh Awami League, a close associate of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, former lawmaker and recipient (posthumous) of Swadhinata Padak.
On the occasion, a milad and doa mahfil was held at Uttar Chashara Jam-e-Mosque after Asr prayers.
