Workshop on food laboratories conclave

A daylong workshop on "Bangladesh Food Laboratories Conclave" will be held in the city's Bidyut Bhaban today, reports BSS.
Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) is organising the workshop to determine imperatives aimed at modernising and developing infrastructure of the existing food testing laboratories, said a press release.
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu is expected to attend the concluding session of the workshop as the chief guest while Food Minister Advocate Qamrul Islam as the special guest.
About 200 representatives of food testing laboratories, ?standard policy making agency and university students will participate in the workshop
