UP polls �BNP faces crisis of nominees�
The BNP is facing a crisis of party nominees for the upcoming Union Parishad (UP) elections scheduled for March 22, ruling Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif has stated. He said this while talking to reporters at party President Sheikh Hasinas Dhanmondi political office in the city yesterday morning. Hanif said that several BNP leaders have distanced themselves from the party or resigned due to wrong decisions taken by seniors, such as boycotting elections and alleged incidents of politically motivated violence.
