Quader to get full authority of JP gradually

Says HM Ershad

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad yesterday said that all responsibilities of his party will gradually be bestowed upon GM Quader, the party’s newly appointed co-chairman.
“I am handing all the responsibilities of the JP over to the hands of my brother GM Quader gradually,” Ershad said at a press conference . The presser was held marking the party’s distribution of nominations among aspirants at its Banani office in the capital.
About the upcoming Union Parishad election, the JP chairman said they have taken the ensuing local government elections as a challenge for testing its popularity. And the party high-ups hopes that the JP nominated candidates would fare better than the previous polls, he added.
Addressing the news conference, Quader said he hope that the organisational activities of the party will be strengthened through the upcoming UP elections.

“We are going to participate in the polls very actively. I hope the party candidates will do better in the polls,” he said.
The party began distributing nomination papers among, what it says, the competent and popular grassroots leaders yesterday morning. Until yesterday, the JP nominated 205 party candidates who will be carrying the party mandate in the UP polls.
