Five days into their disappearance, bodies of four children were found at Sundratiki village under Bahubal upazila in Habiganj yesterday.
The four, including three cousins, were identified as Manir Miah (7), Zakaria Shuva (8), and Tajel Miah (10) -- class I, II, and IV students of Sundratiki Primary School, and Ismail Miah (10), class II student of Sundratili Madrassa. Manir, Shuva, and Tajel were cousins.
Sundratiki villagers found the bodies buried under heaps of soil yesterday morning and informed the police.

Meanwhile, Zakaria’s father filed a murder case, which has been handed over to Officer-in-Charge of Habiganj Detective Branch of police Md Moktadir Hossain for investigation, according to sources.
