Two jailed for catching jatka

SHARIATPUR: A mobile court yesterday sentenced two persons identified as Moktar Didar, 50 and Delwar Hossain Gazi, to one year imprisonment each in Bhedarganj upazila, reports BSS.
On a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in a bus on Shariatpur-Chandpur road and arrested them with 10 maunds of jatka (small hilsa),  police said.
Later, Bhedarganj UNO Sohel Ahmed gave the punishment. The seized jatka were distributed to different orphanages.
