Cox’s Bazar: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in separate drives recovered 1.9 lakh pieces of Yaba tablet and arrested a Myanmar citizen in Teknaf upazila yesterday, reports UNB.
BGB-2 Battalion Commanding Officer Lt Col Abu Jar Al Zahid said tipped-off a team of the border force conducted a drive in Naitongpara area of the upazila and recovered 1,60,000 pieces of Yaba tablet around 3:00am.
Later, the same team conducted another drive in Hyechchhar Khal area of the upazila and arrested a Myanmar citizen along with 30,000 pieces of Yaba around 6:00am.
