State Minister for Labour and Employment M Mujibul Haq Chunnu yesterday said the government has already imparted an 18-month informal education course and a six-month skill development training to 90,000 children under a project for bringing them out of hazardous jobs and resorting to normal life, reports BSS.
He said this while replying to a question of treasury bench member Umme Rajia Kajol in the Jatiya Sangsad.
The minister said on completion of the training the children are provided with necessary materials linked with their concerned trades.
The government has a plan to bring more 60,000 children in the fourth phase of the project, he added.
