A mobile court on Tuesday fined four invigilators Tk1000 each for helping examinees adopt unfair means during Dakhil examinations, reports UNB.
The mobile court led by executive magistrate Munibur Rahman imposed the fine on the four on-duty teachers at Chuadanga Alia Madrasah centre at 12pm.
Assistant sub-inspector Anawarul Islam, in-charge of the exam centre, said Shafiuddin of Dingadah Dakhil Madrasah, Idris Ali of Hazrahati Dakhil Madrasah, Ashraful Islam of Begumpur Madrasah and Muktar Hossain of Shorabaria Dakhil Madrasah were found assisting the examinees in cheating in the English 2nd paper examination just when executive magistrate Munibur Rahman entered the centre.
Munibur Rahman caught the four teachers red handed, he added.
Khaled Saifullah, assistant secretary of the centre and acting principle of the Alia Madrasah, said the executive magistrate fined the four teachers Tk1000 each.
