Minor girl raped in Sylhet

A four-year old girl was raped allegedly by a young boy in the city’s Pathantula area on Tuesday afternoon.

The matter came to light when the victim was admitted to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital for medical test. Now she was under taking treatment at one stop crisis centre of the hospital.
Sources said, Khokon, 18, son of Nur Miah of Saiful Miah Colony in the city took the minor from the same colony nearby Lakkatura Tea Garden and raped her. After returning home when girl informed the matter to her family. The family member took her to the Osmani Medical College Hospital. Now she was under taking treatment there.
After the incident accused’s family members fled the colony, the victim’s family alleged.  A case was filed in this connection  and main accused was arrested said Akther Hussain, officer in charge, Jalalabad police station.
