Shariatpur district AL council on February 27

SHARIATPUR: After long time, the triennial council of Shariatpur district Awami League (AL) will be held on 27 February at the Zila Stadium here, reports BSS.
Leaders and activists of the ruling AL have been energized at the news of holding the council. A huge preparation has been going on to make it a grand success. Important roads and highways have been decorated with welcome arches, banners and festoons.
Presidium member of Awami League and Deputy Leader of the Jatiya Sangsad Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury is expected to present the function as the chief guest while the party’s General Secretary and Minister of Public Administration Sayed Ashraful Islam inaugurate the council.
General Secretary of Zila Awami League Anol Kumar Dey said preparation is going on in full swing to hold the council.
