Accused held in Chittagong

Police arrested accused of sensational Himadri Majumdar Himo murder from Khaja Manjil of Panchlaish area yesterday in the city yesterday.
The arrestee was identified as Mahbub Ali Danny, 28.
Himu, 18, a A-Level student of Summerfield School and College was pushed to death  from the roof of a four-storied building in Panchlaish Residential Area on April 27, 2012 by his friends after being tortured by Doberman dogs.
After pushed off from the roof he was admitted to the hospital and succumbed to his injuries on May 23, 2012, 26 days after he was assaulted. The arrested is son of Ahmad Ali Khan, a resident of Panchlaish area.
Asif Mohiuddin, assistant commissioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (Panchlaish Zone), said police arrested Danny as he was absconding. Later he was produced before the court.
