Joya in yet another new Indian Bangla film

After dazzling the audience with her brilliant performance on the small screen, Bangladeshi actress Joya Ahsan is now doing the same simultaneously on the big screen. Meanwhile, notable National Film Awards-winning films like ‘Guerrilla’ and ‘Chorabali’ have been added to her career. Then, she received proposal from Kolkata to work in the films there and acted in several ventures under the direction of noted filmmakers. Even, she saw huge success for working in the much-acclaimed film titled ‘Rajkahini’. Directed by ace filmmaker Srijit Mukherjee, Joya earned both admiration and criticism for her role in the film. DhakaLive has news that Joya recently singed a deal for working in yet another new Indian Bangla film, which will be produced by Kolkata’s Venkatesh Films. Titled ‘Egoler Chokh’, the film will be produced based on the novel by Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay with the same title. Joya’s new project will be directed by Arindam Sil. Though Joya has already worked in four films in Kolkata, this one has come up with a different dimension for Joya as she will be seen playing a unique role—some sort of a detective character. In the film, she will play the character named Shibangi—wife of Bishan, the central character of the film. Right this moment, Joya has her hands full with a number of films. She is working for the films such as Saiful Islam Mannu’s ‘Putro’, Mahmud Didar’s ‘Beauty Circus’, Akram Khan’s ‘Khacha’ and Maruf’s ‘Macedona’.
To note, Joya started her silver screen career with the film ‘Bachelor’ in 2004. For her stunning acting skill, she earned many awards alongside being awarded with prestigious National Film Awards for two times.
