The first ever Bangladeshi’s trade and investment expo will be held in Thailand from May 30 to June 1.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Thailand Saida Muna Tasneem urged the business leaders representing jute, pharmaceuticals, leather, furniture and other sectors to attend the three-day fair, ‘Trade and Investment Expo,’ says a press statement.
She made the urge during her meeting with leaders of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) at the FBCCI Bhaban in the capital on Saturday.
Tasneem urged the Bangladeshi business leaders to take initiatives for boosting trade and investment between the two countries.
Tasneem laid emphasis on building a positive image in Thailand so that Bangladesh can attract more Thai investment to Bangladesh.
FBCCI directors and other chamber and association leaders attended the meeting held with its Vice President Mahbubul Alam in the chair.
Describing the potentials of tourism sector in Bangladesh, Tasneem urged tour operators
to take initiatives for bringing Thai tourists to Bangladesh’s tourist spots (Buddhists heritage) in Ramu, Khagrachari and Bandarban.
