Food corner fined Tk 1 lakh

A mobile court yesterday fined a food corner named Chawk Malancha Cooling to Tk100, 000 at KB Plaza of Chawkbazar in Chittagong.
During the drive the court seized and destroyed huge amount of putrefied and stale Zilapi, (an oil-hike juicy sweet) old oil, savour and putrefied raw materials of fast food.
The mobile court was led by Mohammad Ruhul Amin, Revenue Deputy Collector (RDC) and executive magistrate of Chittagong District Administration.
“The seized foods were destroyed at nearby drain,” said Ruhul Amin.
