Fire at Lily Plaza in capital

A fire broke out in a shopping mall adjacent to Mouchak market in the capital yesterday afternoon, reports UNB.
Khandaker Jalil, an official of the Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire broke out in the kitchen of a Chinese Restaurant on the 1st floor of Lily Plaza around 4pm.
Eight fire fighting units rushed in and doused the blaze within 15 minutes, he said. The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
