Olympic Day Run held

The Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) observed the Olympic Day Run-2015 in the capital and six other divisional headquarters yesterday as part of the IOC’s global programme to popularise the Olympic Movement, reports BSS. BOA secretary general Syed Shahed Reza inaugurated the Olympic Day Run as chief guest by releasing a bunch of balloons. The master event of the programme, the Olympic Day Run-2015, sponsored by Coca Cola, Exim Bank Ltd, First Security Islami Bank, Ershad Group Limited, Moushumi Industries Limited, Tarji and The Blazer BD. The Olympic Day Run, participated by the sports loving people, started from Ramna Tennis Complex at 7 am and terminate at the Bangabandhu National Stadium after passing through Engineers Institute, Foreign Ministry, Press Club, Baitul Mokkaram and National Sports Council areas.
