Kamal hopeful of unearthing mystery of murder soon

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal yesterday expressed hope that the secrets behind the Sagar-Runi murder case would be unearthed soon, reports BSS. "It [probe] will obviously take some time...the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is sincerely working to reveal the real cause behind the murder of Journalist couple", said the home minister while replying to a question at a function at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB)in the city. Chapainawabganj Samity in the capital organised the programme. Engineer M Nurul Islam presided over the function, also attended by Mohammad Golam Mostafa Biswas as special guests. On February 11, 2012, journalist couple-Golam Mostafa Sarwar alias Sagar Sarwar, News Editor of a private television channel Machranga, and his wife senior reporter of ATN Bangla Meherun Runi, was brutally murdered at night at their house at Pashchim Razabazar in Dhaka city.
