Atrashi Urs begins today

FARIDPUR: A four-day annual Urs of Biswa Zaker Manjil at Atrashi in Sadarpur upazila of this district will begin today and will continue to February 16, reports BSS. During the period, thousands devotees of the Pir Shahib will attend various Islamic rituals and prayers. The devotees will come both from home and abroad. In a press release issued yesterday, thousands of devotees of Atrashi have already thronged the big area of Zaker Manjil in Sadarpur upazila of this district. The devotees are coming in different modes of transports.  However, most people are coming by road. The organizers have arranged all kinds of preparations for the lakhs of devotees including
security, supply of pure drinking water and temporary boarding.  The government is also providing available supports to make the congregation hassle free and secured.
