Polling in 10 municipalities March 20

Election to 10 municipalities will be held on March 20, Election Commission (EC) said yesterday.
According to the schedule,  the EC will hold election to Haragachha municipality in Rangpur, Kaliganj in Khulna, Jhalakathi sadar, Bhanga in Faridpur, Nangolkot in Comilla, Brahmanbaria sadar, Kabirhat in Noakhali, Sonagazi in Feni, and Chakaria and Moheshkhali in Cox’s Bazar.
The deadline for submitting nomination papers is February 22. The election officials will scrutinise the papers on February24 and 25. The last day for withdrawing nomination papers is March 4.
