Arif Khan has been elected president of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) in its meeting held on Tuesday, says a press release.
Before being elected as the president of ICMAB, Arif Khan was elected vice president of ICMAB for two terms. He served the institute as secretary and treasurer in different terms. He also served as commissioner of Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC).
The council also elected Jamal Ahmed Choudhury and Prof Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed as vice-presidents, Md Abdur Rahman Khan as secretary and Swapan Kumar Bala as treasurer of the Institute.
