Zahid Hasan playing title role in two drama serials

Versatile actor-director Zahid Hasan certainly has his hands full as he has taken up the task of simultaneously directing two new drama serials and also acting in both of them. Titled ‘Vagabond’ and Raju 420’, both the drama serials have been penned down by Zakir Hussain Ujjal and Zahid Hasan will be seen playing the title characters in both dramas. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of several episodes of ‘Vagabond’ has already been completed and Zahid Hasan is now currently busy with directing ‘Raju 420’.
Popular actresses Urmila Srabanti Kar and Nazia Huq Orsha are playing alongside Zahid Hasan in these two drama serials. Both of them have worked with Zahid Hasan for the very first time through these two drama serials.
Zahid Hasan informed that even though he will be playing the title characters in both the drama serials, the characters are very different from one another. He then spoke about the projects, “The job of direction alongside acting in the same project is indeed quite difficult. However, before shooting, we hold meetings and while shooting, the cinematographer Anwar Hussain Bulu and my colleagues all are extremely cooperative. That is how the difficult task of shooting becomes an easier task. I am quite hopeful about both the drama serials. The viewers will experience a different kind of joy from it.”
‘Vagabond’ and ‘Raju 420’ will be aired very soon on Banglavision and ATN Bangla respectively.
