Bangladesh added one more silver and four bronze medals on the fourth day 12th South Asian Games in Guwahati and Shillong in India yesterday, according to Bangladesh Olympic Association sources.
Bangladesh won the lone silver medal in the mixed event of archery recurve event. Beauty Roy and S K Sajib shared the silver for Bangladesh.
Men’s team won bronze medal in the archery recurve event edged past Bhutan. Beauty Roy also secured a bronze medal in women's individual recurve event.
The other two bronze medals came through Wushu event. Milon Ali bagged the first bronze in men’s 60 kg Samshou event. Then Anisur Rahman grabbed the second bronze in men's 70 kg Samshou event.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh qualified for the quarterfinal of the mixed doubles event of badminton by beating Nepal.
