A mobile court yesterday fined a food corner named Malancha Food Corner Tk100, 000 in Alkaron area under Kotwali Police Station of Chittagong.
During the drive the court destroyed huge amount of putrefied and stale Zilapi, (an oil-hike juicy sweet) old oil and savour.
The mobile court was led by Mohammad Ruhul Amin, Revenue Deputy Collector (RDC) and executive magistrate of Chittagong District Administration.
“We caught them in red-handed while making samocha and kebab by old burnt oil.
It seemed to us that it was adulterated. They kept meats, fishes, raw chop, raw kebab, lentils along together in a fridge, in an unhygienic condition,” said Ruhul Amin.
“They destroyed the foods,” added Ruhul Amin.
