3 BB deputy governors get extension

The government has extended the service contracts of three deputy governors of Bangladesh Bank---Abu Hena Mohd Razee Hassan, Nazneen Sultana, and Shitangshu Kumar Sur Chowdhury.
The service contract of Nazneen Sultana as Bangladesh Bank deputy governor has been extended till July 14, 2016, while the service contract of Abu Hena Mohd Razee Hassan was extended till September 10, 2018. Also, the government has extended the service contract of Shitangshu Kumar Sur Chowdhury till January 31, 2018.
The public administration ministry issued a circular yesterday saying that the tenure of the three BB governors were extended in continuation of their previous agreements with the government.
