Woman killed by miscreants

RAJSHAHI: A woman was slaughtered to death in her bedroom in Mypara village under Puthiya Upazila of the district yesterday night, police and locals said, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Shahnaz Begum, 35, wife of Abul Hossain.
Quoting locals Hafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge of Puthiya Police Station, said Shahnaz Begum might have been killed by some miscreants while she was asleep at night. On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body lying in a pool of blood this morning.  A case was recorded with Puthiya Police Station in this connection.
