A 13-member trade delegation of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) left Dhaka yesterday to attend the 10th China-South Asia Business Forum and Consultative Meeting on Co-operation Council of BCIM Chambers in Kunming, China, reports BSS.
Acting DCCI President Humayun Rashid is leading the delegation for the Business Forum and Consultative Meeting to be held on June 12-14, said a DCCI press release yesterday.
China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) invited the DCCI to send the team.
The delegation includes Humayun Rashid, directors--Abdus Salam, Muktar Hossain Chowdhury--co-conveners--M A Rashid Shah Shamrat, Riyadh Hossain, former vice president Mohammad Alaudding Malik, former directors--Mohammed Mazharul Islam, Nazir Hossain, Ahmmed Hossain Mozumder, members--Jahangir Hussain Miah, Haji Mohammed Mia Hossain, DCCI secretary general A H M Rezaul Kabir and deputy secretary M Akramul Haque.
Humayun Rashid will speak as a panel discussant in the business forum titled “Promote the construction of Silk Road Economic Belt: accelerate the pace of business cooperation on the perspective of industrial cooperation”. The delegation will meet business community in China and have several bilateral meetings with the Chinese businessmen and investors.
