Man shot dead in Mymensingh

A young man was shot dead and four others suffered bullet wounds during a clash between two groups of people at Digharkanda in Sadar upazila on Saturday night, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Shimul, a resident of the area.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Quamrul Islam said Bhutto, son of Kadu chairman, and his cousin Ronny had long been at loggerheads over a contract work of Titas Gas office.
As a sequel to the dispute, the two groups locked into a clash around 10pm, leaving five people injured with bullets.
The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) where Shimul succumbed to his injuries.
