SYLHET: Police arrested 12 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) from Uposahar area of the city on Wednesday, reports UNB. Police said a rival group of JCD attacked another group while they were holding a meeting to form ward committee in no-2 house of D block of the area. The attackers also torched several motorcycles outside the house. On information, police rushed to the spot and arrested them. The arrestees were Sylhet district JCD leader Rumel Shah, Jahangir, Sumon, Suyed, Lokman Ahmed, Himel, Munna and others.
