School, college teacher registration exams today

The 12th Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) preliminary examination for school and college level will be held across the country on today. The one-hour long school level preliminary test will be held at 10:00am on June 12 while the college level examination will be held at 3pm, a press release of the Education Ministry said yesterday. All the applicants will have to face multiple choice question (MCQ) exams in required subjects. A total of 5,32,522 examinees will take part in the exams. Of them 3,52,013 applicants will take part in the school level examination while 1,80,509  aspirants will appear for the college level examination. On the occasion of the NTRCA exam, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will visit two centres- Dhaka Teachers Training and Dhaka College - in the capital at 9:45am. Education Secretary Nazrul Islam Khan will also accompany the minister.
