4 �frauds� arrested

Chittagong detective branch (DB) of police in a drive yesterday arrested four alleged members of fraud syndicates from different part of Chittagong district.

The arrestees were identified as Joynal, 35, Alauddin, 37, Fakhrul, 37, and Delwar, 32, all of them hailing from Zorarganj area under Mirsharai upazila of Chittagong. They were cheating with people from two years, said DB police sources.
Contacted, Babul Akhter, additional deputy commissioner of DB of Chittagong Metropolitan Police said, “The arrestees identifying themselves members of Police and DB were committing crimes in the Chittagong.  They also realised money from people by taking hostage.”  “Of them, Joynal realised ransom from man by hostage vehicles and goods. 
Farkrul used to hostage people by cheating with women then collected money from them. 
Alauddin collects money for the both.” said Babul Akhter.
