The first international air cargo route from Yunnan opened

Recently, an air cargo flight of Zhejiang Changlong Airlines left Kunming of Yunnan for Dhaka, the cap­ ital of Bangladesh, marking the opening of the first inter­ national air cargo route from YUilllan.

The Kunming-Dhaka air cargo route is scheduled to run five flights per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thurs­ day, Friday and Sunday re­ spectively. A single trip covers 1,281 kilometres in two and a half hours. Zhejiang Changlong Airlines has put a fleet of Boeing 737-300F aircrafts in operation. Each all-cargo aircraft can carry a payload of 12 tons, and the outbound cargoes mainly include cloth, textiles, phar­ maceuticals, machinery, electronic products, flowers and commercial shipments, while the inbound  car­ goes mainly include eels, shrimps, crabs and other aquatic products.
