Man burnt alive in Madaripur

MADARIPUR: A man was burnt alive when a fire broke out in his house at Habiganj village under Dhurail union in Sadar upazila in the early hours yesterday, reports BSS. The victim was identified as Yousuf Ali, 44, of the same area. Dhurail union parishad chairman Mojibur Rahman said it is not clear how the fire originated but it might be originated from kitchen at about 4 am and soon engulfed the entire house. Local people rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
