Brick field owner fined in Tangail

A mobile court, led by executive magistrate and AC (Land) of Bhuapur Anjan Kumar Sarker, slapped a fine of Tk 60,000 on owner of Akhi Bricks at village Golabari in Bhuapur upazila yesterday. Anjan Kumar Sarker said he went to the brick field and found that the bricks were being burnt using timber instead of coal, which is offence according to the law. The court realised the fine on the spot, AC (Land) added.
