Man crushed under train wheels

CHITTAGONG: An elderly man was crushed under the wheels of a train in Postarpar area under Chittagong Doublemooring thana on Wednesday night, reports BSS.
The victim was Bibhuti Bhushan Baiddyo, 65, owner of a jewelry shop, at Chandhanaish upazila of the district. Himangshu Das Rana, officer-in-charge (OC) of Government Railway Police (GRP), said the man was killed as a train crushed him under its wheels at the said area last night. Receiving information from the locals, police recovered the body around 11 pm and sent it to the morgue for autopsy. An unnatural death (UD) case was lodged.
