No players seek transfer on Day-1

There was no excitement on the first day of the inter-club players transfer of Bangladesh Premier League (Professional Football League) for upcoming season. No clubs or players did not turn up to participate in the procedure yesterday.
All ten teams but Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited drew 315 the forms of players transfer from the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) but any of the clubs did not submit in favour of any player.
However, there were so many incidents occurred regarding players transfer when some of the players have already confirmed their services for different clubs and most of players of the Sheikh Jamal, played for them (Jamal) last season choose new clubs.
Therefore, Sheikh Jamal club alleged that BFF hatched a conspiracy to demolish Sheikh Jamal image
But the BFF vice-vice president Badal Roy while talking to the reports yesterday disagreed with the complaint. He explained that it was not right that BFF help any club to bring players at their custody or players were free after January 20.
Badal Roy said, It is not right that Jamal claimed players were not freed and they were Jamals players up to January 20th, truly players were free from December 26 as the league committee announced the schedule of the inter-club players transfer.
It is a system, has been following for a long while the league committee of BFF announced a particular date of inter-club players transfer, from that day, they (players) become free, if the date deferred or the committee make another fresh schedule that does not matter, said Badal.
However, general secretary of the BFF, Abu Nayeem Shohag expected teams will take part in the procedure very soon, as it is a month long process.
