Sumaiya Shimu in new drama serial

Popular actress Sumaiya Shimu, who has not taken any brand new drama serial in her hand since she got married in August last year, is going to work in a new drama serial from the next month after taking a pleasing break. Though she was working in a few ongoing drama serials and single episode tele-dramas, due to giving adequate time to her newly-started life she did not step into in any time-consuming project. DahkaLive has news that this time, Shimu is set to play the central character in her new drama serial titled ‘Shunyata’, scripted by Pantha Shahriar and directed by Amlan Biswas. The shooting of the drama serial will begin from the middle of February. 

Shimu said about working in the drama serial, “Artistes always keep faith on the scripts written by Pantha Shahriar. I am going to work in this new drama serial as the script has fascinated me intensely. I hope that it will be a wonderful work finally.”
After coming back to home from their recent honeymoon trip in Switzerland, Australia and Singapore, Shimu is working regularly for her ongoing drama serials—Fazlur Rahman’s ‘Jiboner Oli Goli’ on ATN Bangla and Nazrul Islam Raju’s ‘Lake Drive Lane’ on NTV. l
