A month long inter-club players’ transfer of the Professional Football League (Bangladesh Premier League) for the upcoming season begins today at the Bangladesh Football Federation Bhaban.
Although the official formalities is to begin from today but almost all the teams have already confirmed the services of the players of their choices.
This season the players’ transfer got some excitement when the Chittagong Abahani Limited, one of the bottom sides of the league table came forward to form a strong team to compete for the league championship.
Meanwhile, after Mamunul Islam expressing his desire to play for the Ctg Abahani and his Sheikh Jamal colleagues Nasiruddin Chowdhury, Sohel Rana, Rayhan Hassan and Yamin Munna almost confirmed for the Port City club.
On the other hands, some of the premier performers, Jamal Bhuiyan, Monayem Khan Raju, Shakhawat Hossain Rony and Alamgir Rana, who played for Jamal in the previous season, expected to play for Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra, as they left the BFF Bhaban on January 19 accompanied with some of Russel’s officials.
