Hamidunnesa, mother of deputy speaker of the Bangladesh Parliament Adovcate Fazle Rabbi Miah, died of old age complication at Goita village under Shaghata upazila in Gaibandha yesterday noon. She was 101, reports BSS.
She left behind three sons and two daughters and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn her death.
Speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury yesterday condoled death of Begum Hamidunnesa, mother of Deputy Speaker M Fazle Rabbi Miah. In a message of condolence, Chief Whip ASM Firoze and whips expressed their deep shock at the death of Hamidunnesa.
They conveyed deep sympathy to members of the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
Whip of the Bangladesh Parliament and MP from Gaibandha-2 Constituency Mahabub Ara Begum Gini also condoled the death.
