Star-studded celebration on Razzak’s birthday

Yesterday was the 75th birthday of Nayak Raj famed living legend of the country’s film industry Razzak. To celebrate the day in a befitting manner and to pay proper respect to the legend on his special day, several media houses have passed their felicitations to the actor. Channel i made a three-day celebration arrangement on the special occasion of Razzak’s birthday. Yesterday, during the programme ‘Taroka Kothon’, eminent personalities from the entertainment industry and other arenas passed on their well wishes to the actor on his special day.  Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sent flowers to the legendary actor on the special day. On the show, several personalities participated towards wishing Razzak on his birthday including Channel i director and Head of News Shayk Siraj,  entertainment personalities Amzad Hussain, Sujata, Faruq, Aruna Biswas, Ferdous, Razzak’s younger son Samrat, his granddaughter Arisha, Rafi Hussain, Anurap Aich, Zahid Akbar, Ali Aftab, Daud Hossain Roni and Ovi Moinuddin. The presenter of Channel i ‘Amar Chobi’ programme Shafiuzzaman Khan Lodi and director Shamim Alam Dipon also congratulated him with flowers.  Actors Alamgir and Bobita sent felicitations through video.  Live video footage also saw the actor receive best wishes from his family members at home, from Bangladesh Film Development Corporation,  where artistes, directors all passed on their messages. The programme ended with the cutting of the birthday cake.  After that, Razzak headed off to BFDC premises to meet and greet with his well wishers. Throughout the day, he also received several flowers in his office at Rajlaxmi complex in the capital’s Uttara area. The episode of  ‘Taroka Kothon’ on the special occasion of Razak’s birthday was produced by Ananya Ruma, and was presented by Mousumi Barua.
