Current nets worth Tk 2cr seized in Bhola

Coast guard members seized banned current net worth about Tk 2 crores at Bedhuria ferry terminal in Bhola yesterday. Sajjadur Rahman, a coast guard operation officer, said acting on a tip-off a group of  coastguard members conducted a drive at Bedhuria ferry terminal and recovered the banned current net worth about Tk 2 crores from a loaded truck. Later, the nets were handed over Bhola sadar police. Sensing the presence of the law enforcers the owner of the contraband item managed to flee away.
