Kazi Shofiqul Azam new IIFC MD

Kazi Shofiqul Azam, additional secretary (World Bank), Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, has recently been elected as the managing director of Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) with effect from January 1. 

He has work experience over 32 years in different government offices in the ministries, department, corporation, project and so on, a press statement said yesterday.
IIFC works internationally in PPP transaction, financial and economic analysis institutional reforms and capacity building across two continents - Asia, Africa.
