Pro-liberation panel sweeps KUET TA polls

KHULNA: Pro-liberation backed panel won all nine posts except one executive member of Teachers Association Election of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) on Wednesday night, reports BSS.
The annual election -2016 of KUET Teachers Association was held at the conference room of the administrative building here on Wednesday. Professor of Physics Department of KUET Dr Shibendra Shekhar has been elected president defeated by Professor Golam Kader of Mechanical Engineering (ME) Department while Professor Dr Sobhan Miah of ME Department has been elected General Secretary defeated by Professor Dr Md Faruk Hossain of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department. Chairman of the Election Commission Professor Dr Nowsher Ali Morol of ME Department of KUET announced the result Wednesday night.
