The government will take initiative to build smart city, State minister for Posts and Telecommunications Division Tarana Halim said.
“We want to build smart city in Bangladesh,” the satate minister, who is in Malaysia now, posted on her Facebook.
She had a meeting with the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore on smart city. She also saw some projections on Malaysia`s innovation center ``smart city``. Tarana on Facebook also wrote that to make Bangladesh a digitized and a smart country, the first intitaive is to make all the divisional cities smart. She also wrote that she hopes that this initiative of smart city will make the whole country digitized and smart soon.
Singapore Smart Nation on their announcement said: Smart Nation Platform will be one of the anchor initiatives that will enable everyone and everything, everywhere, to be connected all the time in Singapore.
Pervasive connectivity, along with infrastructure and common technical architecture will allow citizens, businesses and government agencies to leverage technology towards improving lives in a Smart Nation.
